The migration service reported that over 96,415 Uzbek citizens returned to Uzbekistan from Russia in the last ten days. These citizens arrived either directly or via Kazakhstan.
A total of 54,885 people returned directly to Uzbekistan, while another 41,530 reached there via transit through Kazakhstan.
During this period, 6,413 appeals were received by relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from Russian citizens. Practical assistance was provided to 5,467 citizens.
Specifically, legal support was provided to 2,681 people, certificates of return to Uzbekistan were issued for 726 citizens, and 272 citizens were helped to find employment. Additionally, 59 people received material aid, wage debts were collected for 31 people, and other assistance was provided in 29 cases.
With the support of relevant authorities, 1,669 citizens were returned to their homeland; 660 people returned by air transport, and 1,009 by bus.
In cities such as Moscow, as well as in the regions of Tula, Kursk, Kaluga, Ryazan, Oryol, and Voronezh, mobile reception points were organized, covering over three thousand Uzbek citizens.
Negotiations were also held with 20 large employers, and job offers exceeding 2,500 were formulated. A joint pilot project to attract citizens to work on an organizational basis is planned to be implemented starting in October 2026.
