The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan announced that six athletes from the country's national judo team will participate in the Grand Slam tournament, which will take place in Budapest from September 11 to 13.
It is expected that over 500 athletes from 70 different countries will participate in the Hungarian capital. Uzbekistan will be represented by three men and three women.
In the men's competition, Doston Ruziev will compete in the under 60 kg category. Elbek Tozhiev will represent Uzbekistan in the under 73 kg category, and Murodjon Yuldoshev will compete in the under 81 kg category.
Among the women, Sevinch Murodova is registered in the under 48 kg category. Mukhaiyo Akhmatova will participate in the under 52 kg category, and Marjona Kuchimova will compete in the under 78 kg category.
Uzbek judokas have traveled to Hungary to participate in the final Grand Slam tournament.
