Satinder Jain, a jeweler, stated that his shop has been operating in Chandni Chowk since 1924, and he is 87 years old. He noted that although their native language is Hindi and Sanskrit, they are learning other languages so that guests feel comfortable. He added that in addition to English, they are learning Japanese and Chinese.

Ramkant Sharma, owner of a famous jalebi shop, stated that preparations are going well and the area is clean. He assured that foreign guests will be served delicious jalebi, which is made from ghee, can last several days, and is suitable even for the sick. His shop has existed for 110 years.
Naresh Gupta, a clothing trader, thanked the Prime Minister, noting that the participation of five BRICS countries and the joining of new countries improves India's image globally. He mentioned that the main task of the trade union is to maintain the cleanliness of the market, and they are training staff and themselves to communicate gracefully by learning small phrases in English and French.
A visitor from Rajasthan, Rohit Raj Grover, after tasting jalebi, commented that Chandni Chowk is a place worth visiting and that the arrival of guests will be auspicious.
The 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit will take place in New Delhi on September 12 and 13, 2026, under the chairmanship of India. Prior to this, the BRICS Business Forum will be held on September 11. The theme of the forum is 'Building Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainable Development'. Leaders of member countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE), partners, and invited guests will participate in the event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host this important meeting focused on global cooperation, multilateralism, and development.
