ZeroRisk raises $10 million in Series A round to enhance merchant cybersecurity

The Dublin-based cybersecurity startup ZeroRisk has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by MiddleGame Ventures, with participation from existing investor Elkstone. The funds raised are intended to accelerate the company's global expansion and product development.

Founded in 2023, the company offers a unified platform for payment providers that allows them to monitor and reduce cyber risks within their merchants' portfolios. The traditional model, based on annual compliance checks, is inadequate for modern threats. Small businesses face constant risks such as credential theft, website vulnerabilities, and compromised connected devices.

ZeroRisk replaces outdated static audits with a continuous monitoring platform that integrates risk assessment, regulatory compliance, training, and managed issue resolution. This comprehensive approach enables payment providers to transform their compliance obligations into a valuable product for their merchants.

ZeroRisk has passed the early product validation stage and moved into large-scale implementation. The company currently serves major payment providers such as Bank of America, Global Payments, Checkout.com, and Trust Payments. With offices in Dublin, Atlanta, and Longford, the team is focused on increasing operational capacity. According to co-founder and CEO Gary Nolan, the company expects its revenue to triple by 2026 as contract programs move toward full execution. The attracted capital will support this international growth as the firm aims to dominate the emerging segment of risk orchestration in the payments market.
