The Parisian artificial intelligence startup Actionable has successfully raised $10 million in a seed funding round. This capital injection, coordinated by Hi Inov and Axeleo Capital, is intended to expand the company's direct sales into the US market. Furthermore, Actionable plans to hire more researchers and data scientists to accelerate product development.
This new round followed a $2.2 million pre-seed funding round in 2024, which allowed the company to build its agent simulation platform. Actionable stands out by transforming raw CRM and CDP data into a unified model tailored for various industries.
Co-founder and Co-CEO Nicolas Riol states that standard large language models struggle with processing raw data, often leading to hallucinations. By applying a semantic layer, the engine provides industry-specific context, including finance, energy, and transport. The company strictly adheres to data privacy, ensuring that information pertaining to specific customers is not merged or transferred between accounts.
Traditional methods of collecting customer feedback are often ineffective because most dissatisfied users never file a complaint. Actionable demonstrates its value by identifying hidden issues. For example, analysis showed that for the European rail operator Ouigo, the main reason for passenger churn was a 13-minute delay, while the response rate on satisfaction surveys was only 5%.
Investors see significant potential in this approach; the $10 million raised places the company in the 93rd percentile among French marketing startups, indicating growing interest in AI tools capable of turning raw data into actionable retention strategies.
