According to a household survey conducted by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as of January 1, 2026, there were an average of 124 refrigerators and freezers per 100 households in Uzbekistan.
This indicator showed significant growth over the past decades. Compared to the year 2000, the number of such household appliances increased by 44.2%.
In 2000, the average number of refrigerators and freezers was 86 per 100 households. By 2005, this figure rose to 91, and by 2010, it reached 99 units.
In 2015, the number of similar household appliances exceeded the mark of 100 units, amounting to 101 refrigerators or freezers per 100 households. Subsequently, the figure grew to 107 units in 2020.
The growth continued in subsequent years, reaching 114 units in 2021, 115 in 2022, and 118 in 2023. In 2024, 121 refrigerators or freezers had already been registered per 100 households, and by the end of 2025, this figure reached 124 units.
Overall, the statistics indicate a constant increase in public access to refrigerators and freezers: from 86 units per 100 households in 2000 to 124 units at the beginning of 2026.
