The press service of O‘ztemiryo‘lyo‘lovchi JSC reported that on September 10, 2026, a modern high-speed electric train manufactured by CRRC-Dalian will begin running on the Tashkent-Andijan railway route. Additionally, the schedules of several other passenger trains serving the Fergana Valley will be adjusted.
The new train set will replace the existing service No. 730/729 in the Tashkent-Andijan-Tashkent direction. Train No. 730 will depart from Tashkent Passenger Station at 09:20, arrive in Angren at 10:25, in Pap at 12:00, in Kokand at 12:28, in Margilan at 13:00, and in Andijan at 13:35. The return train No. 729 will leave Andijan at 15:38, arrive in Margilan at 16:11, in Kokand at 16:43, in Pap at 17:11, and in Angren at 18:50, with a scheduled arrival at Tashkent Passenger Station at 19:53.
This electric train is designed to carry 357 passengers. It consists of four carriages: the first and second economy class carriages each have 95 seats, the third carriage has 72 seats, and the fourth carriage has 95 seats.
Along with the launch of the new train, the schedules of other routes will change starting September 10. Train No. 91 on the Andijan-Tashkent route will depart from Andijan at 18:40 and arrive in Tashkent at 01:31 the next day. Train No. 92 in the Tashkent-Andijan direction will depart at 17:50 and arrive in Andijan at 00:36 after September 14. Train No. 93 Andijan-Tashkent will depart at 16:35 and arrive at 22:31 starting September 12. Train No. 97/95 Andijan-Tashkent will depart at 17:30 and arrive in Tashkent at 00:27 starting September 10.
Schedules for the following trains will also change: Train No. 96 Tashkent-Andijan will depart at 04:55 and arrive in Andijan at 11:43 starting September 10. Train No. 98/94 on the same route will depart from Tashkent at 07:14 and arrive in Andijan at 13:48.
Changes will also affect intercity transport. Train No. 126/125 on the Khiva/Urgench-Andijan route will operate on an updated schedule from September 9, departing from Tashkent-South at 05:58 and arriving in Andijan at 12:13. In the opposite direction, train No. 125/126 Andijan-Khiva/Urgench will depart on September 10 at 15:45 and arrive at Tashkent-South at 21:48, after which it will continue according to the established schedule.
Trains No. 127/128 Andijan-Kungrad will start running at 17:30 from September 10, arriving at Tashkent-South at 00:27. Train No. 128/127 Kungrad-Andijan will pass through Tashkent-South at 05:58 on the same date and arrive in Andijan at 13:14. Trains No. 129/130 Andijan-Termez will depart at 16:35 from September 10, reaching Tashkent-South at 22:31, after which they will continue according to the previous schedule. In the opposite direction, train No. 130/129 will pass through Tashkent-South at 07:14 from September 9 and arrive in Andijan at 13:15.
Schedules for trains No. 731 and No. 732 have also been adjusted. Starting September 10, Train No. 731 Andijan-Tashkent will depart at 06:35 and arrive at 13:15, while Train No. 732 Tashkent-Andijan will depart at 17:50 and arrive at 23:58. Train No. 733 Andijan-Tashkent will start running at 05:50 and arrive at 13:15 starting September 14. Train No. 734 Tashkent-Andijan will depart at 17:50 and arrive at 00:36 starting September 13.
On regional routes, Train No. 6312 Kokand-Andijan will depart at 06:05 and arrive at 08:44 starting September 10. The return train No. 6313 Andijan-Kokand will depart at 17:08 and arrive at 19:45. Train No. 7091 on the Kokand-Namangan-Andijan-Kokand route will start from Kokand at 05:30 on September 10, arrive in Namangan at 07:51, reach Andijan at 10:40, and return to Kokand at 13:42. Train No. 7093 Kokand-Namangan will depart at 14:15 on September 10 and arrive at 16:36. Train No. 7094 Namangan-Kokand will depart at 17:00 and arrive at 19:16.
Passengers are advised to take the new schedules into account when planning trips and to check the current schedule before departure.
