The Agri’s Got Talent 2026 competition has determined its top 10 finalists, representing various aspects of the South African agricultural industry. These ten professionals are going through the competition to compete for the prestigious title, demonstrating talents that go beyond farm work, packing plant operations, or office roles.
The finalists represent regions from fruit farms in Langkloof to citrus groves in the Western Cape, as well as vineyards and export enterprises. The competition is sponsored by the Citrus Growers’ Association, Hortgro, SATI, South Africa Wine, and the Western Cape Department of Agriculture. Food For Mzansi is the official media partner.
Before the Grand Final, the finalists will travel to Paarl in the Western Cape on Sunday, October 11, where they will undergo an intensive week of training, development, and preparation.
Although singing and performances are central elements of the competition, Agri’s Got Talent aims for more than just finding the best voice. The finalists will receive professional vocal and stage presence training to enhance their performances and boost confidence. Furthermore, they will participate in a personal development program conducted by a social worker from Procare.
This program will cover practical skills such as financial literacy, communication, conflict resolution, and self-esteem building. According to the Agri’s Got Talent project leader, Theo van Zyl, the goal is for the experience to impact participants long after their last song performance.
Theo van Zyl expresses hope that the finalists will return to their workplaces and communities as confident role models, capable of inspiring others and making positive changes. The finalists' employers have also played an important role by supporting their employees throughout the competition.
The answer to who will win Agri’s Got Talent 2026 will be given on Friday, October 16. The Top 10 will take the stage in Rustikaan in Klaapmuts, Western Cape, for the grand final. The evening promises music, performances, and pride in agriculture, as the finalists battle for the Agri’s Got Talent 2026 title. The grand final will start at 6:30 PM, and the entrance ticket will cost only 50 rand.
