L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore has secured a major contract worth between 2,500 and 5,000 crore rupees with the state corporation ONGC. This order is intended for the further development of the Ratna-I and NLM-14 offshore projects located off the west coast of India.
On Wednesday, Larsen and Toubro (L&T) announced the receipt of a significant order from ONGC, which is a state-owned company in India. According to the company's internal classification, the major order is valued in the range of 2,500 to 5,000 crore rupees.
L&T's official report stated: 'L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore has received a major offshore order from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for Additional Development of Project Ratna-I (ADR I) and NLM-14 off the west coast of India.'
This project encompasses a range of complex works: design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of three new platforms with wellhead equipment, one riser platform, numerous sections of subsea pipelines and cables, as well as the modernization of existing offshore facilities.
