Azizi announces AED 30 billion project in Sharjah; townhouse prices start from AED 1.89 million

Azizi Developments, a major private developer in the UAE, unveiled its debut project in Sharjah on Wednesday, titled Azizi Florence, valued at AED 30 billion.

This residential complex, built under a freehold ownership plan, will comprise 1,130 villas, over 6,000 townhouses, and 3,500 apartments. Three-bedroom townhouses will be priced starting from AED 1.89 million, equating to AED 850 per square foot of sellable area.

The project will integrate residential, retail, hospitality, educational, entertainment, and wellness services, centered around a Central Park spanning 1.7 million square feet. The community grounds will be divided into six residential clusters, each featuring its own park, clubhouse, community center, and landscaped gardens.

Mirwais Azizi, founder and chairman of Azizi Group, stated that returning to Sharjah after more than three decades holds deep personal significance for him, as the emirate was his first home in the UAE and an important part of his life journey.

This project complements Azizi's growing portfolio in the UAE, alongside the company's flagship developments in Dubai, such as Burj Azizi and Azizi Venice. The launch of the Sharjah project comes amid the intensification of Azizi Developments' activities across the UAE.

The company, which has already handed over over 45,000 homes to investors and end-users from more than 100 nationalities, currently has approximately 150,000 properties under construction. According to Group CEO Farhad Azizi, this portfolio is valued in billions of US dollars. Previously, last year, he told Khaleej Times that the company completed 19 projects in Dubai in the preceding year, constructing over 8.4 million square feet of total area and selling more than 10,229 real estate units worth over AED 10 billion.

Azizi's flagship project remains Burj Azizi on Sheikh Zayed Road—a 725-meter high skyscraper with over 131 floors, slated to become the world's second tallest tower. Sales for this building commenced in February 2025, with completion scheduled for 2028.

Azizi Florence now becomes the largest development complex in terms of scope for the group, expanding its presence beyond Dubai landmarks such as MBR City, Palm Jumeirah, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai South, and Downtown Jebel Ali, marking its first entry into Sharjah.
