Film 'Mirzapur: The Movie' shot two end-credits scenes; one is saved for the sequel

After watching 'Mirzapur: The Movie,' viewers who watched until the final credits in the cinema might have assumed that what was shown was the only hint of plot development. However, the film creators shot not one, but two end-credits scenes; and the second scene was not shown in the film.

Many viewers left the hall without seeing the first end-credits scene, which serves as a strong hint for the second part. According to reports, the creators intentionally delayed showing the second scene, and it is expected to be used in 'Mirzapur: The Movie Part 2.' Thus, if a viewer left the hall immediately after the film ended, they might have missed an important fragment that could play a big role in the future narrative.

According to an industry source, an additional end-credits scene was shot for the film. Initially, it was planned to show it at the end of the first part to set the stage for further story development. However, the creators later changed their decision, believing that the true effect of this scene would be achieved when the story moved to the next chapter. Therefore, it was temporarily postponed and not included in the first part. The scene has been shot, but viewers have not seen it yet, which has become a major topic of debate among 'Mirzapur' fans.

No details about who is in this secret scene, what happens, or what big intrigue is hidden in it have been revealed. Nevertheless, the creators' decision clearly indicates that this scene was saved not just for nothing, but has great significance for subsequent parts of the story.

It is known that the current post-credits scene shown in the film is very tense in itself. In it, Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), Munna Tripathi (Divyendu), and Bablu Pandit (Jitendra Kumar) are sitting in a barbershop. During the conversation, Guddu and Munna find out that both are in love with the same girl, Sviti (Shriya Pilgaonkar). At first, the atmosphere seems light, but then the plot takes a sharp turn: both pull out weapons and point them at each other. This is where fans ask: will the old feud between Guddu and Munna flare up in the second part?

The most interesting point is that the second season of 'Mirzapur' was not suddenly planned after the film's success. According to an insider, the plan for the sequel existed beforehand. This is why the creators shot two different end-credit sequences: the first gives viewers an idea of the future plot, and the second is saved for the next act.

The film was released in theaters on September 4, 2026, and reportedly collected over 100 crore rupees in India and more than 150 crore rupees globally in just four days.

'Mirzapur,' which started on Prime Video in 2019, won its dedicated audience over three seasons. Now, 'Mirzapur: The Movie' brings this world to the big screen. Long-time faces such as Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyendu have returned. Jitendra Kumar replaced Vikrant Massey as Bablu. Other actors involved in the story include Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Mohit Malik, Shiba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Patak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gor, Shweta Tripathi, and Sonal Chauhan.

Although fans have already seen one end-credits scene, the second scene remains a secret weapon for the creators. Therefore, the next time you see the beginning of the credits in any film, do not rush to leave, because there might be the next big secret in the spirit of 'Mirzapur' hidden there.
