August proved to be a successful month for Hyundai. During this month, the company sold a total of 54,396 vehicles. This demonstrates a 24 percent increase in sales compared to last year. It is worth noting that in July of this year, 54,210 cars were sold, whereas in August 2025, Hyundai sold 44,001 vehicles.
The Creta model became the top seller among Hyundai vehicles, selling 16,288 units in August. The annual sales growth for the Creta was 2 percent compared to August of last year, when 15,924 units were sold.
The Venue became the second most popular Hyundai vehicle; this crossover was sold in quantity 11,365 units in August. Compared to the same period last year, when 8,109 units were sold, Venue sales grew by 40 percent.
The third place was taken by the Exter model, which was sold in quantity 8,157 units in August 2026. Sales of this SUV showed an impressive growth of 61 percent compared to August 2025, when 5,061 units were sold.
Additionally, 6,685 units of Hyundai Aura were sold in August; the annual sales growth for this model was 25 percent compared to 5,336 units sold in August of last year. The Hyundai i10 NIOS model sold 5,342 units in August 2026, showing a growth of 37 percent compared to 3,908 units sold in August of last year.
Three SUVs made it into the company's top 5 models. In addition to these leaders, 5,165 units of Hyundai i20, 856 units of Alcazar, 529 units of Verna, and only nine units of Iconic were sold in August.
