The film 'Hanuman ANS', released on August 7, has become one of the most unexpected theatrical premieres of 2026. Despite the absence of major Bollywood stars, the picture, created with a budget of about 20 million rupees, exceeded box office collections to 150 million rupees. The salaries of the actors involved in the project have now been revealed.
Shobhinov Satya received the highest salary for playing the spiritual mentor of Nima Karoli Baba. According to media reports, he earned about 1.5 million rupees for this role. He is the highest-paid among the six actors whose salaries have been disclosed.
Interestingly, Satya initially joined the project as an assistant director. He was offered this role after the actor originally intended for it fell seriously ill. Director Vishal Chaturvedi noticed the resemblance between Satya's appearance and that of Nima Karoli Baba and decided to cast him.
Chandan Ke Anand, who played Rama Nandan Bhosle, ranks second among the six actors in terms of pay. Reports indicate that he received approximately 800 thousand rupees for participating in this religious drama.
Vihan Shedge, who played the young Nima Karoli Baba, received about 500 thousand rupees. His character is important to the plot, as the film covers the path of this spiritual teacher from his early years to becoming a respected figure.
Actor Anil Rastogi earned about 400 thousand rupees for playing Mahanta Ji. Although this amount is not very large, the contribution of the actors proved critical in conveying the spiritual and historical story of the film to the audience.
The salaries of the other actors—Purnima Tiwari and Gulshan Pandey—amount to about 3.5 lakh rupees for Tiwari, who played Nima Karoli Baba's wife, Ram Beti Sharma, and about 300 thousand rupees for Gulshan Pandey, who played Inspector Dharam Singh.
Based on this data, the total remuneration for the six actors amounted to approximately 3.85 million rupees. It is important to note that these figures are based on media reports and have not been officially confirmed by the actors themselves or the creators of 'Hanuman ANS'.
