Architecture and design enthusiasts can meet in Serra da Mantiqueira in the coming days. The Campos do Jordão Design Festival (CJDF) will take place in Campos do Jordão, reaching its fourth edition in 2026. The event is scheduled for September 9 to 12, as one of the country's most famous winter destinations prepares for spring.
CJDF covers many aspects: besides exchanging experience among industry experts, it offers an immersion into the hospitality business of Campos do Jordão outside of the high season. Various events will take place in several of the region's most renowned hospitality venues.
Main Events of the Festival
The CJDF festival spans the entire city, offering over 15 different events. One of the central venues is Ort Hotel, where the third exhibition of Brazilian modern furniture runs concurrently and will last until September 14.
At Chris Wellness Hotel, there will be an exhibition titled 'Ancorar o Corpo,' featuring chairs by architects and designers from Vale do Paraíba, curated by artist Fabiolla Canedo. Regional identity is also presented at the 'Talentos da Mantiqueira' exhibition, opened at Pousada Luis XV, which showcases the work of designers and artisans from Campos do Jordão and Serra da Mantiqueira.
Another artistic direction can be seen at Pousada D’Biagy Premium, where the focus is on photography. It hosts the exhibition 'Além do Horizonte' by Monique Cabral, including original photographs that combine light and nature.
Without straying from the CJDF theme, visitors should check out Galleria Milano, located within Hotel Quebra-Noz. This hall is open to visitors throughout the festival days and contains an impressive private collection of Brazilian design, including works by prominent figures such as Oscar Niemeyer, Jean Jullien, and Sérgio Rodrigues.
The 4th Campos do Jordão Design Festival will run from September 9 to 12, with all activities taking place in various hotels in Campos do Jordão. It is worth noting that registration for the festival is free.
