With the aim of improving the healthcare system in Uttar Pradesh, Deputy Prime Minister Brajesh Pathak ordered the introduction of a new procedure allowing government doctors to continue providing services until they reach the age of 70 after retirement.
The procedure for issuing a directive at the level of the additional chief secretary of the health department has been accelerated for doctors who are currently working up to the age of 65. Thanks to this initiative, patients in government hospitals, Community Health Centers (CHCs), and Sub-Centres (PHCs) will directly benefit from the experience of qualified doctors.
