HCLTech has invested 185 crore rupees in launching an advanced semiconductor laboratory located in Bangalore.
This 40,000 square foot laboratory is designed to provide post-silicon engineering services, extended testing, and failure analysis. It supports HCLTech's semiconductor solutions for clients worldwide.
The facility is equipped with modern equipment from companies such as Teradyne, Advantest, Keysight, Tektronix, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. This enables support for research and development, pre-production qualification, and self-manufacturing, ensuring faster turnaround times, high quality, and reduced complexity for global customers.
In line with HCLTech's Spec2Parts business model, this laboratory serves as a unified platform for automated testing, qualification, failure analysis, and electrical validation, optimizing the transition process from design specifications to finished semiconductor components.
Hari Sadarakhalli, Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Engineering and R&D Services at HCLTech, noted that this institution demonstrates the company's deep commitment to investing in high-end engineering capabilities.
The laboratory will serve both domestic and international markets, becoming a cornerstone of HCLTech's global strategy to deliver innovative, high-quality semiconductor solutions and strengthen India's leadership in this industry.
