In Ivangica, Serbia, a meeting took place between the Deputy Governor of the Tashkent Region, Jakhongir Mamazhonov, and representatives of the company FLORIVA BERRY. The parties discussed the potential for creating modern raspberry plantations in the region, implementing advanced agricultural technologies, and developing cooperation in the field of berry production and processing.
Representatives of the Serbian firm demonstrated their more than fifty years of experience in cultivating raspberries. The company produces certified planting material that has undergone laboratory testing and is free of viruses, intended for professional plantations.
In addition to supplying planting material, FLORIVA BERRY offers consulting services for organizing the entire production cycle—from establishing plantations to harvesting the crop. During the meeting, the company presented raspberry varieties being considered for industrial use and entry into new markets, including Willamette and Enrosadira.
The company also showed blackberry saplings of the varieties Loch Ness, Ponca, Black Satin, Triple Crown, Chester, Dana, and Black Gem. According to FLORIVA BERRY, they have tested various raspberry varieties in different climatic conditions and have practical experience growing the crop in CIS countries. The firm collaborates with professional producers, investors, and wholesale buyers.
The participants in the negotiations discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects in the Tashkent Region. Among the areas under consideration are the creation of modern raspberry plantations, the introduction of high-yield varieties, deep processing of harvested products, and the production of export-oriented goods. After the meeting, the parties defined further practical steps for developing cooperation, assessing available opportunities, and launching promising projects in berry farming and processing.
