Schools in Delhi Closed on September 11 Due to Start of BRICS Summit

Residents of Delhi have been informed of important news: schools will be closed on September 11 due to the start of the BRICS summit. Corresponding directives have been issued in light of this event.

As a result of this decision, all public and private educational institutions in the capital will remain closed on September 11. However, there is a possibility that higher education institutions will continue their operations.

When a major event takes place in the capital, the pace of city life slows down somewhat. The BRICS summit is one such occasion. Heads of state and leaders from several countries will arrive in Delhi as part of this summit. This leads to traffic jams on the roads. Furthermore, strict security measures are introduced on the streets during this period. It was precisely considering these factors that the decision to close schools on September 11 was made.

The order for closure applies not only to specific educational institutions but also to all private and public schools. Moreover, the offices of the Directorate of Education, its headquarters, and subordinate district branches will be closed on this day.

According to the directive issued by the Delhi government, the closure applied only to government institutions and schools. A question arises regarding the operation of colleges, and there is an assumption that they may be able to operate on that day.
