Bandhan Bank has entered the credit card sector by releasing a portfolio of four different options in partnership with Mastercard. This move signifies the lender's expansion beyond traditional banking services.
The new portfolio includes cards named Sparks, Ignite, Flare, and Lumina. They are designed to serve diverse customer groups, covering segments from Gen Z consumers and the growing middle class to frequent travelers and premium segment clients.
Partha Pratim Sengupta, Managing Director and CEO of Bandhan Bank, noted that the launch of credit cards is an important milestone in the bank's development as a universal financial institution.
