Priority Areas of the Competition
The competition is structured around four main themes, each corresponding to a specific need of national infrastructure. The supporting organizations highlight what makes it unique. Nasscom provides its ecosystem of innovation and reach within the deep tech and AI startup community in India. Google Cloud is also a partner in this initiative. Startup India expands the competition's reach to nationally recognized DPIIT startups, ensuring it is not limited to a few well-connected founders in Bengaluru or Delhi.

A distinguishing feature of the InfraAI Innovation Challenge 2026 from a typical hackathon is what happens after presentations. The top three winners are awarded a prize fund of 30 lakh rupees, but an even more compelling proposition for founders is the subsequent pipeline of opportunities: a real industry problem, direct access to Rodic's infrastructure expertise, the opportunity to participate in a pilot partnership program to test the solution on a live project, and for selected startups—a path to commercialization and strategic investment within Rodic's innovation roadmap.
