Festivals are often judged by the number of tickets sold, but Marble Circus is evaluated by parameters such as the number of champagne flutes, pyrotechnic effects, crumbs from pastries, goosebump-inducing moments, dancing feet, glittering costumes created by legacies, hidden surprises, and how often guests exclaim: 'Wait, what is that?'
After two seasons completely sold out thanks to magic, Marble Circus, which will take place on September 26th and 27th, promises unforgettable experiences over twelve hours across two days on a festival grounds spanning more than 75,000 square meters. This year's figures tell a story of wonders all their own.
Guest Count
An arrival of 16,000 guests is expected. This translates to 8,000 visitors daily, ready to enjoy food, drinks, dancing, strolling, photography, discoveries, and immersion in the feelings of Euphoria. If LMC established itself as South Africa's most ambitious and artistically designed festival in 2025, in 2026 the spectacle will expand while maintaining the intimacy, detail, and delightful uniqueness that initially attracted people.
Brand Spaces
A fantasy of treats, exquisite items, and fun has unfolded across the event grounds, where brand partners are given much more than just a logo and a patch of land. They are invited to participate, create bold worlds, and shape moments so that people stay longer, clink glasses, discover new fantasies, and play.
Guests can enjoy numerous spots such as the Investec Wonder Wheel ride, strolls in the Whimzalicious Wine Garden, interactions with Moët & Chandon, visits to the Savanna Dry area, atmosphere with 947, excitement from Johnnie Walker and Don Julio, costume decoration from Country Road, creating magnificent memories with Samsung, socializing with Mercedes, or visiting the Heineken House.
Culinary Delights
For gastronomy lovers, this year offers more choice, more menus, more carefully selected canapés, more dishes inspired by Pantry, more snacks, more ice cream, more sushi, more delightful desserts, and more reasons to return for 'just one more bite.'
This feast of flavor is prepared by 144 culinary experts daily, under the direction of Chef David Higgs. Service is provided by 86 waiters and 180 bar staff, and guests are served 38,000 pieces—eight tons—of brilliant tableware and cutlery, as well as over 40,000 recycled LMC pink cups.
Music and Performances
Over 22 hours of entertainment, Marble Circus will once again fill the field with sound, spectacle, and goosebump-inducing moments. 240 talented musicians and stunning performances will provide surprises and joy from noon until closing, performing on the main stage and around it. This incredible example of imaginative design and engineering is a central masterpiece measuring 68 meters wide, 22 meters deep, and 24 meters high, and it comes alive thanks to 584 hours of inspirational stage design and 74 hours of stage construction work. Furthermore, 2600 pyrotechnic signals over two days must be mentioned.
Four Pillars of Purpose
As always, LMC Legacy continues to gain magical momentum. Initiated by Investec and founded on the belief that creating long-term value means investing in people, ideas, and opportunities that continue to create value after the event itself, the program has turned into a common movement. It continues to unite partners to make a meaningful impact long after the festival concludes.
In its third year, beneficiaries will receive 1.1 million Rands in contributions supported by Legacy partners and directed towards four goals: Feed More Mouths, Provide More Magic, Be Kind to More People, and Promote Sustainable Development. With ambitions to quadruple garden plot yields, build sustainable fashion and creative futures, and exceed waste recycling rates of over 80% at the event, LMC strives to leave a legacy that goes beyond luxury.
Behind all this lies the hidden arithmetic of wonder: practical magic, dazzling design, planning, storytelling, lifting, procurement, construction, wiring, polishing, pouring, rehearsals, styling, cleanup, and constant checking, which allows everything to look effortless and meticulously planned by the time the first guest arrives and until the last moment of the fireworks.
More than 70 permanent employees from Grid Worldwide, The Marble Group, G&G – The Goosebumps Company, and Main Partner Investec dedicated a whole year to this. It was a year of dreams, refinement, construction, and the bold question: 'What if we made it even more extraordinary?'
Despite all these numbers, Marble Circus exists in the category of one.
