Miral in Abu Dhabi has officially announced plans to add three new Harry Potter themed zones to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, the region's largest indoor entertainment park.
The announcement was made in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences on Monday, September 7th, following a week of announcements on official Harry Potter social media channels.
The park's website featured a countdown to the reveal, accompanied by a video showing the iconic 1962 light blue Ford Anglia flying over Warner Bros. World. This moment references a well-known scene from 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,' where Harry and Ron use a flying car to reach Hogwarts after missing the train.
The expansion will include three of the most recognizable locations from the magical world: Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and the Forbidden Forest. These new areas will cover approximately 63,000 square meters (678,000 square feet), increasing the park's total area by about 26 percent.
As a result, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will become the first park in the world to feature all three iconic Harry Potter environments within a single complex, distinguishing it from existing Wizarding World destinations by Universal, where visitors must travel between different parks to experience both.
In addition to the themed zones, visitors will be able to enjoy exclusive Harry Potter-themed rides created specifically for Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
