The match between the Eastern and Southern zones took place in Chepauk during the Dalip Trophy final. This match, which began on August 23 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 2 in Bangalore, concluded on Tuesday, August 25. The East Zone team secured a convincing victory with a score of 210 runs in one innings.

In this victory, the East Zone team played brilliantly thanks to Shahbaz Ahmed, an IPL player. He made a huge contribution to the game, scoring 167 runs. Furthermore, he acted as a bowler, taking 3 wickets for 20 runs and another 1 wicket for 53 runs.
