Pawan Goenka, Chairman of the Indian National Centre for Promotion and Authorization of Space (IN-SPACe), stated that ISRO will retain its role as the 'foundation of the Indian space sector,' and this role will not diminish even amidst ongoing reforms.
These statements came two days after trade unions representing thousands of ISRO employees demanded an official written clarification regarding the organization's future.
