NoBroker CEO announces plans to achieve profitability within 8-10 months and revenue exceeding 1000 crore rupees by FY2026

The real estate platform NoBroker.com's revenue surpassed 1000 crore rupees in the last fiscal year, and the company's management has stated its intention to become profitable within the next eight to ten months.

This PropTech startup, founded in Bengaluru in 2013, specializes in listing properties for rent, purchase, and sale without charging commission fees to customers.

In addition to its core business, the company offers supplementary services such as courier and packing services, and manages residential complexes through the NoBrokerHood application.

Overview of Financial Performance and Strategy

In an interview with PTI, co-founder and CEO of NoBroker.com Amit Kumar Agarwal stated that the company's revenue increased to 965 crore rupees in 2024-25 compared to 888 crore rupees the previous year. This allowed for a reduction in losses by 25-30 percent, bringing them down to approximately 300 crore rupees.

Agarwal noted that despite the final figures still undergoing audit, the company's revenue exceeded 1000 crore rupees, and the company continues to make significant progress toward profitability.

He emphasized that the reduction in losses occurs annually due to revenue growth and cost optimization. 'We expect to become profitable within the next 8-10 months,' he stated.

Currently, all company activities are focused on achieving profitability, and at this stage, it does not plan to raise funds from investors or conduct an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company may consider an IPO after achieving profitability.

Business Expansion and Market Presence

Agarwal added that besides the core real estate business, promising verticals such as Packers & Movers, NoBrokerHood, home services, and home decor are becoming significant growth drivers. The company aims to scale these areas and transform NoBroker into a broader platform for the entire consumer journey in real estate.

NoBroker is present in six cities: Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi-NCR. The NoBrokerHood residential complex management platform covers 11 cities and serves over 25,000 complexes and 4.8 million families.

In November 2021, NoBroker became a unicorn after raising $210 million from investors, including General Atlantic and Tiger Global, to expand its business. These funds were raised at a valuation of $1 billion, making the company the first unicorn in the PropTech sector.

To date, NoBroker has raised a total of $361 million.

Revenue Structure

Responding to the question about the revenue structure, Agarwal clarified that about 50 percent of the income comes from the core business—buying, selling, and renting—where many customers use paid plans to get better leads. The remaining 50 percent of revenue is generated through Movers & Packers services, home decor, NoBrokerHood, and home services.

NoBrokers.com was founded by Akhil Gupta from IIT-Bombay, Amit Kumar Agarwal from IIT-Kanpur and IIM-Ahmedabad, along with Saurabh Garg from IIT-Bombay and IIM-Ahmedabad.
