Tashkent Traffic Organization Center Conducts Survey Among Parents Regarding School Buses

The Tashkent Traffic Organization Center has begun studying the methods by which students travel to educational institutions and is also examining the residents' need for school buses.

Residents of the capital had the opportunity to participate in the survey through a specialized bot in the Telegram messenger. To complete the questionnaire, one must specify the address of residence, the name of the school, the grade, the start time of classes, the mode of transport used, and the necessity of a school bus. It is important to note that this questionnaire must be filled out individually for each child.

The topic of launching school buses is periodically discussed in the capital. For example, at a meeting of the city Kengash of people's deputies on August 12, 2025, one of the participants asked a direct question about the reasons for the project's incompleteness and the difficulties faced by state bodies.

Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs, Elmurod Alimov, explained that the implementation of this project is complicated by the fact that students arrive at capital schools from various districts of the city and neighboring regions.

Chairman of the Tashkent City Kengash, Rustam Kalonov, noted that some regions have a lower level of education, which prompts many parents to send their children to prestigious educational institutions in the capital. This creates significant difficulties in forming a route that can gather students from one territory.

Despite the existing difficulties, Elmurod Alimov provided guarantees that this issue will be subject to comprehensive study.
