Trade and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal called on innovators and startups to create economical and environmentally friendly solutions. These developments should support civil society, the corporate sector, and the government in implementing socially impactful initiatives, such as lake cleanup, which he initiated in his constituency.
Goyal noted that such efforts have contributed to an increase in funds flowing into the corporate social responsibility (CSR) sphere. He also emphasized that the government's housing program has helped people gain dignity and build assets while moving a significant portion of the population into the middle class.
According to the minister, transitioning to the middle class can lead to the 'neo-middle class' moving into the upper middle class, improving the quality of life. He added that increased family income stimulates economic growth, making service to society a very profitable venture.
