Fergana Region of Uzbekistan Expands Investment Cooperation with Chinese Companies

The Information Service of the Fergana Region of Uzbekistan reports on the ongoing expansion of investment interaction between the Fergana Region and Chinese enterprises across various industrial sectors.

The Governor of the Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a delegation that included representatives from the Chinese companies Zhicheng Nonwovens (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., San Zheng International, and Sora Energy. The discussion focused on opportunities to deepen bilateral trade ties and create new investment projects in the region.

During the negotiations, the production capabilities of Zhicheng Nonwovens Co., Ltd., which specializes in manufacturing non-woven materials used in medical and hygiene products, were reviewed. The parties assessed the company's production experience and studied potential models for introducing its products into the Fergana Region.

Representatives of San Zheng International presented information about their experience in producing asphalt concrete mixtures and specialized materials for road construction. Furthermore, participants considered proposals from Sora Energy, a firm engaged in petrochemical production, including the development of special fuel additives to improve fuel quality.

Chinese investors outlined several promising initiatives for the region. Governor Bozorov emphasized that the Fergana Region possesses the necessary resources to support investor proposals, noting the readiness of local authorities to provide all required infrastructure and operational assistance.

At the conclusion of the discussions, both sides agreed to continue joint work on refining the proposals and moving towards creating mutually beneficial investment projects in the Fergana Region.
