Atlas and Adras Festival to Take Place in Margilan from September 17–19

The Atlas and Adras Festival will be held in the city of Margilan, Uzbekistan, from September 17 to 19, 2026. The event is dedicated to showcasing national craftsmanship, as well as traditional silk fabrics, atlas and adras.

The three-day event will be organized at the 'Burkhoniddin Marginoni' scientific and educational tourism complex, known as the 'Pearl of the Fergana Valley.' Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the cultural heritage of Margilan, national handicraft traditions, and centuries of experience in animal husbandry and textile production.

The festival program includes displays of traditional atlas and adras fabric samples, an exhibition of national clothing, and presentations dedicated to folk crafts. The event aims to promote the cultural heritage of Margilan.

Atlas and adras fabrics created in Margilan are an important part of the national textile art and represent unique examples of craftsmanship that reflect the traditions and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people.

Organizers stated that the goal of the festival is to support the preservation of national values, popularize traditional crafts, and further develop the tourist potential of Margilan.
