Cadillac begins pre-sale of electric SUVs in Brazil in September

Cadillac, a luxury brand belonging to General Motors, announced the start of its reservation campaign in Brazil, scheduled for mid-September. This initiative marks the beginning of the company's commercial operation and will offer a limited and exclusive stock of electric SUVs, specifically the LYRIQ and VISTIQ models, representing the manufacturer's latest evolution in terms of technology, bold design, and global sophistication.

According to the automaker's management, this initial phase was meticulously planned to ensure close contact and highly individualized service to customers who have shown interest since the announcement of the brand's arrival in the national territory.

Those pioneering buyers registered on this priority list will enjoy exclusive commercial advantages during this launch period. The start of deliveries and the first arrivals of the vehicles are expected to begin in November, depending on the level of customization selected by the customer and the order of confirmation of qualified reservations.

In parallel, the expansion of physical infrastructure is progressing in strategic large cities, with the installation of dedicated experience centers in São Paulo, Curitiba, and Brasília. The opening of the first exclusive brand experience locations will coincide with the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix in November, a date that will also mark the official debut of the manufacturer's team at the historic Interlagos circuit.

The complete technical specifications of the models, along with all final purchasing guidelines, will be disclosed on the company's official website as soon as the reservation system is activated on its dedicated channel.

Jetour G700 SUV with 761 hp to be presented at Interlagos Festival in Brazil

Jetour will publicly present the G700, a plug-in hybrid SUV equipped with 4x4 traction and capable of generating up to 761 hp, at the Interlagos Festival 2026. This model will be the top-of-the-line offering from the Chinese manufacturer in the Brazilian market.

The event is scheduled to take place between August 27th and 30th at the José Carlos Pace Autodrome, located in São Paulo. The debut at the festival precedes the vehicle's commercial launch, which is expected by the end of this year.

Jetour already has a presence in the country with the S06, T1, and T2 models. The confirmation of the G700's arrival was made during the Beijing Auto Show held this year. Details regarding pricing, configurations, and the complete list of equipment for the Brazilian version will be disclosed closer to the launch date.

With a focus on off-road use, the utility vehicle features a design with straight lines and a spare tire mounted on the tailgate, resembling the proportions of a large pickup truck. Its international dimensions are 5.20 meters in length, 2.05 meters in width, 1.96 meters in height, and 2.87 meters in wheelbase.

The G700's interior accommodates up to six passengers distributed across three rows, with the second row featuring two individual seats. In other markets, optional extras include leg rests, heating, ventilation, and massage systems, a high-quality audio system, air suspension, and electronically controlled dampers.

The vehicle's global configuration utilizes a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine coupled with two electric motors, providing all-wheel drive and a combined power output of 761 hp. The lithium iron phosphate battery has a capacity of 34.1 kWh and provides approximately 100 km of range in fully electric mode, according to the WLTC cycle. The total range, considering both systems, reaches 1,000 km, and the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.6 seconds.

Due to its size, mechanical setup, and finishing standard, the G700 is positioned above the T2 XWD 4x4 and is expected to compete in the market with the Denza B5 and the Tank series SUVs manufactured by GWM.

During the Interlagos Festival, Jetour will have a 500 m² stand divided into two floors, which will feature a climbing wall and an area dedicated to Jetour Life accessories. Furthermore, the S06, T1, and the two variants of the T2—4x2 and XWD 4x4—will be on display, with the possibility of test drives in selected units and activities for the public.
