Construction of the tallest bridge, which will be part of the planned China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway line, is underway in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan.
The bridge, crossing the Kech-Alat River, has a total length of 956.67 meters. Its total height reaches 122 meters, with the tallest support pylon standing at 96 meters. According to a report from the Kyrgyz news agency Tuusu, this structure will be the highest on the entire international railway route.
Foundation laying work for the bridge is fully completed, and the construction of supports and retaining walls has reached 54% completion.
The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project aims to create a new transport corridor that will directly connect China with Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Exclusive footage from the construction site was provided by the Tuusu news agency.
