On the following day, the company will hold a standard Direct focused on future releases for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct will begin on September 8th at 11 am Brasília time, with an estimated duration of 30 minutes. The second Nintendo Direct will take place on September 9th, also at 11 am Brasília time. Broadcasts can be watched through official Nintendo channels or the Nintendo Today app.
Although specific content has not yet been disclosed by Nintendo, there are several projects related to the franchise in development. Among them are the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the live-action film of the series, whose cinema debut is scheduled for 2027.
Recently, images of a possible Nintendo Switch 2 and a themed Zelda Pro Controller, created to commemorate the franchise's 40th anniversary, have circulated. However, as this is a leak, there is no confirmation that these items will be shown during the Direct.
On Wednesday, September 9th, the traditional Nintendo Direct will take place again at 11 am, Brasília time zone. This presentation will last about 45 minutes and will primarily focus on games intended for the Switch 2 in the coming months.
After the Directs conclude, Nintendo will host a Nintendo Treehouse broadcast, where gameplay sessions of the presented titles will be shown. The company has not yet specified which games will participate in these events.
