Gazprom increased gas supplies to Central Asia by almost 70%

Gazprom reported an increase in the volume of gas supplies to the countries of Central Asia—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan—by almost 70% this year.

This was stated by the company's head, Alexey Miller. He noted that good results have been achieved in Central Asia, and the total volume of supplies to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan has been increased by approximately 70% this year.

Supplies of Russian gas to Uzbekistan are carried out through the territory of Kazakhstan. This activity is implemented via the 'Central Asia—Center' main gas pipeline system. Previously, Gazprom announced the signing of a contract for the supply of Russian gas to Uzbekistan in 2023.
