JSW Energy's operational capacity exceeds 15 GW, renewable share reaches 60%

JSW Energy reported that the company's total operational capacity has exceeded 15 gigawatts, with the share of renewable energy sources standing at 60 percent.

According to data provided by the company in its exchange reporting, out of a total volume of 15,025 megawatts (MW), 9,067 MW is attributed to renewable energy. This share includes 3,125 MW of wind, 2,426 MW of solar, 1,735 MW of hybrid, and 1,781 MW of hydropower capacity.

The company's thermal generation amounts to 5,958 MW. JSW Energy also stated that it continues to follow the plan to achieve the target increase in power from new (greenfield) projects of 3 GW by the 2027 fiscal year, having currently achieved about 42 percent of this goal.
