First international hotel Mercure opened in Khiva

The Mercure hotel has opened in the city of Khiva, located in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan, becoming the first international-level hotel chain in this region.

The construction of the hotel required investments of $26 million USD and led to the creation of 200 new jobs. The hotel complex features 145 rooms and can accommodate up to 300 guests simultaneously.

The hotel's design combines national and modern styles, intended to reflect the atmosphere of historic Khiva. The opening of this facility expands the hotel infrastructure of the Khorezm region and increases opportunities for receiving tourists.

The arrival of an international brand is expected to contribute to the further strengthening of the tourist potential of the Khorezm oasis. The appearance of international hotel chains in regional markets is critically important for attracting foreign tourists, including those with high purchasing power.

International visitors often rely on well-known and proven hotel chains when choosing accommodation. Furthermore, the development of hotel infrastructure enhances the importance of service quality in tourism.

Thus, the launch of the Mercure hotel in Khiva not only increases capacity for visitors but also promotes the more active development of the region's tourism potential.
