Teaching methods in the public schools of Uttar Pradesh will undergo significant changes. A digital environment will be used for primary and secondary students (grades 1 to 12) to simplify the understanding of complex topics and subjects.
This project takes into account the preferences of 'Gen Z' and 'Gen Alpha' generations, providing for the creation of short videos, Reels, and animated materials. The initiative was launched by order of the Additional Minister for Secondary and Basic Education, Parta Sarti Sena Sharma.
The main goal of this digital educational program is to help students resolve doubts and make the learning process more interactive. Previously, online sessions on YouTube conducted as part of exams and 'Mission Nipun Bharat' received high praise from both teachers and students.
The responsibility for implementing this initiative is assigned to the 'State Institute of Educational Technology' (SIET). This institute, through its teachers, is developing Reels and Shorts on complex disciplines. A recently created video for 'Bagless Day' proved to be very popular. Animation will be widely used to increase the appeal of these videos.
To ensure easy access to educational materials for students, SIET plans to launch its own new channel on YouTube and a page on Facebook. Initially, these videos will be posted on the official 'Nipun UP' YouTube channel. Subsequently, the content will be improved based on feedback received from students.
