The Indian consumer technology brand Mivi is preparing to enter the smartphone market. The company has announced the release date of its first 5G smartphone, which is set for September 24th.
The new smartphone will be named Mivi One 5G. It will feature a flat back body with a vertical camera and a dual rear camera system. The body design resembles the iPhone 17.
The Mivi One 5G will be equipped with a Snapdragon processor, and the company claims it will be the only device with this processor in this price segment, although the chipset version has not been disclosed.
According to multiple Geekbench entries, the smartphone mentions SM4450, indicating the use of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. Geekbench data also suggests that the Mivi One 5G will run on Android 16.
Users of the Mivi One 5G may be offered three RAM options: 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. The Mivi brand has been selling audio products and speakers in India for ten years.
The Mivi One 5G smartphone will be available for purchase through the Flipkart platform. The company emphasized that the device is designed with the needs of Indian users in mind. Details and photos of this upcoming device are already posted on the Flipkart page.
The official price of the Mivi One 5G has not yet been announced, but various reports suggest that this device will target an audience with a budget of less than 15,000 rupees.
