China is ready to implement the important consensus reached by the heads of both states and expand practical interaction in the field of investment, announced China's Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang.
Ding, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, made these statements during the joint chairmanship of the thirteenth meeting of the China-Russia Investment Cooperation Committee. The event took place in the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok together with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov.
According to Ding, it is crucial to strengthen policy guidance and planning, intensify industry coordination and project promotion, and jointly support enterprises of both countries in striving for deeper and more substantive investment partnership.
He emphasized the need to facilitate the implementation and effective operation of key projects, as well as using their exemplary role to sustainably increase the scale and improve the level of investment cooperation between the two countries.
The Vice Premier called on the parties to expand and deepen cooperation, strengthening partnerships in sectors such as manufacturing and infrastructure construction, and increasing practical work in other areas, including the green and digital economies.
Furthermore, he strongly recommended working to eliminate significant difficulties and problems, and properly resolving practical issues of enterprises from both sides to create a more favorable business environment.
For his part, Manturov stated that Russia is ready to work with China under the strategic leadership of the heads of state to fully realize the guiding and coordinating role of the China-Russia Investment Cooperation Committee.
He added that Russia will take steps to meet the requests of Chinese enterprises, ensure convenient and predictable conditions for their investment and business activities in Russia, and systematically promote the implementation of key projects so that the results of cooperation can bring great benefits to both countries and their peoples.
