Apple plans to hold an event on September 9th to unveil its newest and most powerful series, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Fold Ultra. In these models, the company promises to implement the most powerful mobile chipset and an improved camera system.
Earlier reports suggested that due to increased production costs, the price of the iPhone 18 Pro might rise. According to media sources, the cost of the iPhone 18 Pro could exceed that of the iPhone 17 Pro. If the iPhone 17 Pro (256 GB) launched at a price of 1,34,900 rupees, the expected price for the iPhone 18 Pro is anticipated to be 1.40 lakh rupees. The starting price for the iPhone 18 Pro Max model could reach approximately one and a half lakh rupees.
Furthermore, Apple will release a foldable gadget for the first time, which may be named iPhone Ultra or iPhone Fold Ultra. The company will officially present it soon. This foldable phone will feature a passport-style design, similar to the already released Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8.
According to various reports, the design of the iPhone 18 Pro will largely resemble the iPhone 17 Pro model. The company plans to use an aluminum frame. Although the Dynamic Island may be reduced, no significant design changes are expected; however, improvements will be made to the camera sensors and display.
Reports about the iPhone 18 Pro indicated that the company is testing a main camera with a variable aperture, which can physically adjust the sensor. This should lead to higher quality photographic results.
The iPhone 18 Pro will be equipped with the company's new and powerful chipset—the A20 Pro (2 nm). According to leaks, this chipset will be 18 percent faster and provide 30 percent more power saving compared to previous versions.
