The Geely EX5 can now be reserved with a new interior trim called Ivory White, which was presented during the Interlagos Festival at the end of August. This new option is exclusive to the top version, the Max, and is being offered at no additional cost starting this month.
With the inclusion of the light leather upholstery, the Max version now offers two interior possibilities, in addition to the previously available Dark Blue. It is important to note that this modification is restricted only to the vehicle's interior; the body, mechanical assembly, and equipment list remain unchanged. Both models of the electric SUV maintain their prices: R$ 195,800 for the Pro version and R$ 225,800 for the Max version.
This commercial move demonstrates relevance beyond a mere aesthetic update. The EX5, Geely's first model to return to Brazil, has registered 2,967 units sold since its launch in July 2025, positioning itself as a sales leader among fully electric C-SUVs in the country in 2026.
Jianjun (Alex) Chen, Commercial Director of Geely Brazil, commented on the novelty, stating that 'with the new Ivory White trim we are expanding options for the customer.'
Built on the GEA (Global Intelligent Electric Architecture) platform, the EX5 is equipped with a front electric motor that generates 218 hp and 32.6 kgfm of torque. In the Pro configuration, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h. Its LFP Short Blade battery, with a capacity of 60.22 kWh, offers a range of up to 413 km according to the Inmetro cycle.
In terms of charging, using a 100 kW DC charger, the process from 30% to 80% takes approximately 20 minutes. With an 11 kW wallbox, traveling from 10% to 100% requires six hours. The regenerative braking system has four levels of adjustment.
Interior features include the 15.4-inch Flyme Auto multimedia center, a 10.2-inch digital dashboard, 4G connectivity, 360-degree vision camera, support for OTA remote updates, and a voice assistant that recognizes about 200 commands in ten languages. The Max version adds a panoramic sunroof with electric blind, ventilated front seats with memory, 19-inch wheels, a 13.8-inch head-up display, a Flyme Sound sound system with 16 speakers and 1,000 W, in addition to 13 driver assistance systems.
The EX5 body is available in four shades: Storm White, Ash Gray, Moon Silver, and Carbon Black. Although the electric EX5 continues to be imported, the Brazilian operation is moving towards nationalization. Geely acquired 26.4% of Renault do Brasil in November 2025, resulting in the formation of Renault Geely do Brasil. The brand has already confirmed that the EX2 hatchback and the plug-in hybrid EX5 EM-i will enter production this year at the Ayrton Senna Complex, located in São José dos Pinhais, PR.
