The Olhar Digital portal conducted an evaluation of the Huawei MatePad SE 11. This tablet features basic hardware, a competitive price, and supports stylus use, although the stylus is not included in the package. Below, we detail whether it meets consumer needs.
The body of the Huawei MatePad SE 11 is constructed from matte aluminum, with narrow bezels around the screen. Its design is notably thin and light, weighing less than 475 grams, which provides comfort during long periods of handling and facilitates transport in bags or backpacks.
The display measures 11 inches and has a Full HD+ resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). It displays images with good definition and vibrant colors, making it suitable for viewing photos and videos as well as reading documents. With a brightness of 400 nits, the user experience is satisfactory in indoor environments; however, the front glass tends to show significant reflections under direct sunlight.
The model is compatible with the M-Pencil Lite digital stylus, allowing writing and drawing on the screen; this stylus must be purchased separately. It operates on batteries, and the tablet already includes a native application for manual notes in virtual notebooks.

The operating system used is HarmonyOS, created by Huawei. Its operation is comparable to other platforms, such as Android, offering features like multitasking, split-screen for simultaneous use of multiple applications, and home screen customization options.
A crucial point to highlight is that the tablet does not come with pre-installed Google services, unlike conventional Android devices. Consequently, it does not have access to the Play Store, depending on its own app store for downloads.
