During the event, various new titles were revealed, covering games such as Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Marvel’s Wolverine, GTA 6, Metro 2039, and Crimson Desert, in addition to the unexpected announcement of Maneater 2.

The main presentation culminated with an extended showcase of Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Square Enix demonstrated approximately ten minutes of gameplay and confirmed that the final chapter of the remake trilogy will be released on April 8, 2027.

Regarding GTA 6, although no new trailer was shown, the game was highlighted by the announcement of two limited edition DualSense controllers, available in black and white. These accessories will launch on November 19, coinciding with the expected release date of the game itself, and pre-orders will begin on September 10.

Marvel’s Wolverine was also a highlight, receiving a new trailer before its PS5 debut, scheduled for September. The footage shown featured Wolverine confronting Trask Sentinels and cooperative combat scenes alongside Sabretooth.

Other important dates were set: Until Dawn 2 is scheduled for release on January 26, 2027, and Metro 2039 showcased gameplay on the PS5 Pro, expected to arrive on February 4, 2027.

Among the surprises, the announcement of Maneater 2, scheduled for 2027, stood out. Pearl Abyss also revealed Chartering the Unknown, which will be the first expansion of Crimson Desert, launching on October 15, 2026. This expansion demonstrated features such as base building and underwater exploration.

Sony also shared updates on the PS Plus service, informing that Mega Man X: Command Mission, Dino Crisis 2, and the first Ratchet & Clank will be added to the classic catalog throughout the rest of 2026, and Mycopunk will also arrive in the Game Catalog.

Several other announcements were made, including a major update for Gran Turismo 7, the free Zenith update for Saros, confirmation of a LEGO PlayStation containing 1,911 pieces, and the inclusion of three indie games for Sony consoles: Hunter’s Moon, Uncanyon, and Keeper.

Subsequently, State of Play Japan presented news focused on Asian and Japanese productions. Among these, there was the reveal of Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara, an expansion arriving on October 1 as part of the Complete Edition. The broadcast also included Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, slated for 2027, and more details about Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, featuring the new Elder Dragon Gundoraga.

Other mentioned titles included Fate/Extra Record, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, Gundam Rogue Orbit, Rhapsody in Scarlet, Rev. Noir, and Where the Seeds Fall. Despite the extensive lineup, highly anticipated projects, such as Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and Santa Monica Studio's God of War Laufey, were not presented.
