Globally, users reported encountering errors while using artificial intelligence platforms, including OpenAI's ChatGPT and Codex, on September 3rd.
According to Downdetector data, 73 percent of users recorded issues with ChatGPT, while 15 percent reported malfunctions in Codex. A map of registered OpenAI problems showed that affected users were located in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other areas of the UAE.
On Thursday at 18:58 GST time, OpenAI stated: 'We are investigating the issue for the listed services.' A subsequent update reported that the company has implemented mitigation measures and is monitoring service recovery.
