Light rains fell in Dubai, causing an increase in the activity of cars and animals

After a period of intense heat and high humidity, residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) welcomed the light precipitation as a pleasant surprise. Meteorologists reported a forecast of rainfall in various parts of the country in the coming days.

From Thursday, September 3rd, to Monday, September 7th, residents should expect variable rain combined with windy weather. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) noted that the UAE is entering a period of changing weather conditions, characterized by expected southerly winds, dust, and reduced visibility, before northwesterly winds bring a noticeable drop in temperature.

Rain was observed in Dubai on one of the days. In different areas of the city, cars drove through wet roads, splashing water while a light rain fell over the city. Animals, such as camels, also seemed to enjoy a break from the scorching sun, walking in the desert. In another part of Dubai, a collection of rainwater was noticed near a mosque.

For Friday, September 4th, morning, high humidity is expected in some coastal areas with a probability of fog or haze formation. The weather will be clear or partly cloudy, and in the afternoon, cumulus clouds associated with precipitation may appear from the east and south. A breeze of light or moderate southeast or northeast wind is expected, which may occasionally intensify, causing dust to rise, at a speed of 10–25 km/h, reaching 40 km/h.

The sea in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will be calm. The temperature forecast is as follows: on the coast, daytime temperatures will range from 38°C to 42°C, and nighttime temperatures from 27°C to 34°C; inland, from 42°C to 46°C during the day and 25°C to 32°C at night; in the mountains, from 29°C to 37°C during the day and 25°C to 31°C at night.
