The state of Chhattisgarh has become a leader among states in the campaigns of the Ministry of Water Resources (Jal Shakti ministry) aimed at engaging the public in rainwater harvesting and replenishing groundwater reserves.
Five districts of this state—Surajpur, Mahasamund, Balod, Balodabazar-Bhatapara, and Kabirdham—have also entered the top ten districts in the country for water resource conservation.
The National Secretary of the Socialist Party, Shivpal Singh Yadav, made an important statement on Wednesday regarding the 2027 Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly elections. He confirmed that the coalition between the Socialist Party and the Congress will be maintained, and both parties will participate in the elections jointly.
Shivpal Yadav stated that under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav, the Socialist Party will secure a majority in the Uttar Pradesh government. During a conversation with journalists in Eta, he emphasized: 'The SP-Congress coalition will participate in the 2027 elections together. Under Akhilesh Yadav's leadership, the Socialist Party will form a government with an absolute majority.'
Nevertheless, Shivpal Yadav has not yet disclosed the details of the SP's strategy for the upcoming elections, noting that the party has not yet published its electoral plan and will present it when the time is right.
During his speech, he also sharply criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Mentioning a fabricated statement submitted against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Uttarakhand, he accused the BJP of attempting to weaken and destroy the opposition. Shivpal Yadav also criticized the BJP for creating alleged AI-generated videos targeting SP leaders, stating that the BJP started this, and the Socialist Party merely reacted to these actions.
Furthermore, he attacked the BJP government over issues of corruption and development. Mentioning the poor condition of roads and potholes on the expressway, he argued that this exposed inconsistencies in the BJP's claims about development. Shivpal also responded to recent statements by Om Prakash Rajbahra, president of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, reminding him that all Rajbahra's statements against the BJP while he was in coalition with the Socialist Party are recorded.
Shivpal Singh Yadav arrived in Eta on Wednesday. There, he met Rameshwar Singh Yadav, a former Socialist Party MLA who was recovering from a lung transplant, and inquired about his health. He also visited the family of Haji Abdul Aziz, father of Shraft Hussain alias Kale, an SP member, to offer condolences on his death.

At Indira Gandhi Pratisthan in Lucknow, the BJP is holding a working meeting titled 'Campaign of Service and Resolve' with the participation of its leading figures. The party is working on a strategy to activate its organizational apparatus at the polling station level. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, State President Pankaj Chaudhary, National Secretary Smriti Irani, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, and General Secretary of the State Organization Dharampal Singh will participate in this meeting.
Approximately 700 party members, all constituency heads, as well as MPs and MLAs from each constituency are present at this working session. Additionally, UP leaders belonging to regional and national structures will attend the event. The Socialist Party also held a meeting on Monday of all district and city presidents at the party office in Lucknow. Under the direction of Akhilesh Yadav, this meeting emphasizes not only political discussions but also technical preparation. An important point is that one person from each polling constituency who is knowledgeable in computer technology and handles Form-6 will be included in this meeting.
Thus, in addition to political activities, the SPA is moving forward in strengthening preparations at the polling station level concerning voter lists. This meeting, called at the direction of Akhilesh Yadav, is considered important for the SPA's organizational and electoral plan for 2027. Representatives from each UP polling constituency possessing IT expertise and related to 'Form-6' (adding new voters) were also invited to the meeting. The SPA is strengthening its ground position by checking the work on adding names and making changes to voter lists.
All three parties have started preparations for the Uttar Pradesh elections. These meetings of all three parties clearly indicate that preparations for the big event of 2027 have been activated specifically in Lucknow.

As part of this strategy, SP first tried to win the trust of the Guruj community and then bet on attracting Tyagi and Brahmin votes. After Saharanpur, Akhilesh Yadav has planned a rally in Bulandshahr on September 12th. Bulandshahr has traditionally been a strong RLD stronghold, and a 'youth summit' is also planned there to strengthen political positions and attract youth. Thus, SP is working on a plan to break through each of Jayant Chaudhary's strongholds.
For SP, the new threat is not only RLD but also Akash Anand, the nephew of Mayawati. BSP National Coordinator Akash Anand began his 'Mission-2027' election campaign from Hathras. He then sent a political signal by holding a rally in Jewar, Noida, and now his third rally is scheduled for September 17th in Saharanpur. Western Uttar Pradesh has long been a strong base for BSP. Saharanpur served as a political laboratory for BSP, from where Mayawati herself entered the electoral arena. BSP consistently won these seats. Dalit leader Chandrashekhar Azad is also from Saharanpur. The votes of Dalits in Western Uttar Pradesh are decisive.
