Dyson launches electric toothbrush with artificial intelligence capable of capturing oral images in 100 megapixels

When purchasing a home cleaning vacuum, consumers typically focus on three key parameters: power, runtime, and cleaning efficiency. Dyson has released the new V16 Piston Animal vacuum in the Indian market. With this launch, the company aims to change the traditional approach, asserting that this appliance is not just a powerful vacuum cleaner but a device equipped with sensors and software capable of determining the floor covering type and adjusting suction power accordingly.

The Dyson V16 Piston Animal is available in India for ₹79,900. It is one of the most powerful cordless vacuums featuring an anti-tangle cord. Furthermore, users can connect it to an app to receive necessary information.

The most outstanding feature of the Dyson V16 Piston Animal is the new All-Floor Cones Sense Cleaner Head. This head is equipped with two brushes whose design is specifically engineered to prevent long hair and pet fur from wrapping around the brushes. Hair usually gets stuck in vacuum brushes, requiring manual removal. However, Dyson's new system directs hair from the middle of the brush to the edges, and then pulls it directly into the dustbin. The company claims this system can handle hair up to 25 inches long.

Moreover, this head can independently adapt its settings depending on the floor type. On hard surfaces, the brush speed is reduced, while on carpets, it increases. Consequently, the suction power is also adjusted according to the needs. This minimizes the need for frequent attachment changes.

For homes typical of India, this change is significant, as a single residence may contain various surfaces such as marble, tile, wooden floors, carpets, and rugs.

The V16 features a new 900W Hyperdymium motor, which provides maximum suction of up to 315 air watts. According to Dyson, this model is 50% more powerful than the previous Hyperdymium motor. It also includes Dynamic Cyclone technology. In boosted mode, five additional cyclones are activated, allowing the machine to exert more effort where stronger suction is required.

Dyson's approach is not only about increasing power but also about ensuring the machine uses high power only when necessary. This is why the sensors, motor, and software are designed to work together.

The V16 is equipped with the CleanCompactor Bin. Its function is not limited to simple dust collection; it also compacts it, allowing more debris to be stored in a smaller volume. Dyson claims that compared to a regular bin of the same size, it can collect approximately three times more dust and dirt. The company estimates that it can hold dust and debris for up to 30 days. The interior surface of the bin is designed to reduce dust and hair adhesion during emptying. Thus, Dyson has solved a daily problem related not so much to the cleaning itself, but to the subsequent cleaning of the vacuum cleaner.

The Dyson V16 cleaning head is fitted with LED lighting. Its purpose is to reveal dust that is invisible under normal lighting on the floor. According to a Dyson study conducted in India, 51.6% of respondents stated that areas under beds and furniture often remain uncleaned, and 47.5% reported difficulties cleaning corners, edges, and the bottom of walls.

The V16 Piston Animal has a fully sealed filtration system. The goal of this system is to prevent dust collected by the vacuum from being recirculated into the air. Dyson states that its filtration system is capable of trapping even the smallest particles. This is especially useful for households where daily cleaning involves dust, hair, and pet fur.
