In several higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, the cost of the differentiated paid contract for the 2026/2027 academic year has exceeded the mark of 200 million soms. The highest amount was recorded at Tashkent State Law University, where it reaches almost 270 million soms for one year of study in the full-time bachelor's program.
The super contract is intended for applicants who scored at least 56.7 points but could not pass into the standard contract due to insufficient points below the established passing level. The exact cost of this contract is determined based on the chosen field, the format of study, and the number of missing points.
Cost at Tashkent State Law University
At Tashkent State Law University, the annual cost of the super contract for full-time bachelor's is approximately 269 million 960 thousand soms. For a three-year evening bachelor's program, the price for one year is set at 132 million 100 thousand soms. Additionally, full-time master's studies will cost 122 million soms, and the evening form costs 97 million 600 thousand soms.
Price Differences at Namangan State University
At Namangan State University, prices vary significantly depending on the specialty. In the full-time department, they range from 26 million 932 thousand 500 soms to 122 million 620 thousand soms. For evening and distance learning formats, the cost is in the range from 31 million 384 thousand 500 soms to 128 million 560 thousand soms. For specialties such as 'General Medicine', 'Pediatrics', and 'Higher Nursing', the super contract at the full-time department is set at 114 million 120 thousand soms.
Price Gradients at Tashkent University of Information Technologies
Tashkent University of Information Technologies applies a more detailed pricing system that depends on the deficit of points. If an applicant falls short of the passing score by more than 1.05 points, the super contract will be 1.5 times the basic contract, equivalent to an amount from 18 million 150 thousand to 24 million 750 thousand soms. With a deficit of 3.06 to 4.05 points, the cost increases to 36 million 300 thousand – 49 million 500 thousand soms. For distance learning, amounts ranging from 23 million 100 thousand to 59 million 400 thousand soms are provided here.
Other Educational Institutions
At Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, the super contract for full-time and evening departments is within the range of 22 million 940 thousand to 31 million 905 thousand soms. The Yangiyor branch of the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute offers a cost from 22 million 200 thousand to 48 million 120 thousand soms, depending on the field and mode of study. At Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages, the cost ranges from 29 million 600 thousand to 47 million 220 thousand soms, with the amounts determined as four or five basic contracts.
Andijan State University has set a range from four to six basic contracts. At the time of publication, the final basic cost at this university had not been fully approved. It also notes a trend towards reducing the maximum size of the super contract: previously it could reach ten times the basic contract, then it was reduced to eight times, and now it is up to six times.
It is important to note that the super contract is paid exclusively for the first academic year. To be admitted, at least half of the established amount must be paid. After successfully completing the first year, students continue their studies under the standard procedure, paying the regular contract.
Currently, information on the cost of the super contract is available only at selected universities. Overall, there are 215 higher education institutions operating across Uzbekistan, where about 1.6 million students study. Admissions to state universities for master's programs for the 2026/2027 academic year have recently closed; all applications submitted through my.edu.uz and my.gov.uz have been reviewed, and admission results are available in the personal accounts of applicants on the my.edu.uz platform.
