August proved to be an ordinary month for the automotive sector; however, one company demonstrated impressive sales growth in August 2026. This refers to Force Motors, which sold 3,721 vehicles in August 2026.
Compared to last year, when the company sold 2,295 units in August, Force Motors' annual sales growth amounted to 62 percent. The company noted that demand for all its product lines improved, which was facilitated by the recent release of the Traveler N and Urbania Deluxe models.
Force Motors specializes in the production of vans, passenger transport vehicles, and special commercial vehicles. In the domestic market, the company offers the Traveler, Urbania, and Force Gurkha models. The Gurkha model is highly popular among consumers and is considered a direct competitor to the Thar.
In August, the company sold 3,802 vehicles including exports. Exports accounted for 81 units, whereas 108 units were exported in August of last year.
This year, Force Motors made significant changes to the Force Traveler N model. In May, the company introduced a new version of the Traveler, replacing the old one. This line is suitable not only for passenger transport but also for use as ambulances, school buses, and cargo vans for delivery. All these variants are equipped with a 2.6-liter diesel engine. Improvements were made to the body structure of the Traveler N, the number of connections in the body was reduced, the front and rear sections were updated, LED daytime running lights were installed, and the overall quality was enhanced.
Numerous modifications were also made to the cabin. This van is now equipped with a new dashboard, a digital instrument cluster, a 9-inch multimedia screen, redesigned seats, and an upgraded air conditioning system. Force Motors reported that the Traveler accounts for 65 percent of the light commercial passenger vehicle segment.
Furthermore, the company released the Urbania Deluxe model in July. This van is available for a price of 28.7 lakh rupees including all charges. It is offered in three chassis variants and has the capacity to accommodate 8 passengers. Customers can choose a configuration from driver plus 9 passengers to driver plus 16 passengers. The Urbania Deluxe is also equipped with a 2.6-liter diesel engine, which develops 134 hp and a torque of 350 Nm.
