Laser radiation finds application in numerous fields, including industry and medicine. To create such radiation, energy must first be supplied to an active medium, and then the generated light is repeatedly amplified using an optical resonator.
Historically, the first lasers were activated using another type of radiation. However, currently, the use of electric current is a more common method, which allows for the creation of more compact devices.
