The number of international hotel chains operating in Uzbekistan has increased by 27.5 percent in the first seven months of 2026, as global operators began to expand beyond the capital, Tashkent.
The period from late 2025 to August 1, 2026, saw an increase in the total number of international brand hotels in the country from 40 to 51 properties, and the number of represented brands grew from 25 to 31. The total room inventory increased from 5,191 to 6,664 rooms, representing a growth of 28.4 percent, and capacity rose from 9,340 to 12,096 places. Eleven new international properties were launched during this period.
This market expansion reflects geographical diversification. While international brands were previously concentrated exclusively in Tashkent, new projects have now appeared in Bukhara, Samarkand, Nukus, Termez, Chimgan, and Beldersoy.

The Wyndham Hotels and Resorts chain demonstrated the most significant growth, increasing its portfolio from six to 11 hotels. New properties include Wyndham Garden Chorvoq Darvozasi, Ramada by Wyndham Nukus, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Tashkent, TRYP by Wyndham Chimyon, and TRYP by Wyndham Tashkent Olympic City. Wyndham's room capacity grew from 857 to 1,450 rooms.

Hyatt doubled the number of operating properties from one to two with the opening of Beldersoy Resort and Spa Destination by Hyatt, increasing the room inventory from 300 to 445. Marriott International maintained two properties but increased the number of rooms at JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent from 280 to 415.
The development covers luxury, mid-range, urban business, and mountain resort segments in Chimgan and Beldersoy.
